      Advice on surplus rifles

      If you want something to shoot for fun on occasion, I highly recommend the m44 carbine version of a Mosin. Shoots fireballs and sounds like a howitzer :D

      I plan to take some carry gun training classes locally & get some snap caps for dry fire draw practice

      Always completely ID target, and what’s behind it. My thought process as mentioned by cedar would be for daytime, & not so much low-lights scenarios.
