      Morels 2024

Small world. My father's family lived & farmed in west-central Putnam county for over 80 years. My mother's dad was the principal of Bainbridge High School in the early 1940s. My dad was a ballsy guy, dating the principal's daughter!

      Morels 2024

We found a small one today. It was 2 days old dry. Hopefully we'll find more when it warms back up.

Scott- get on the google and search "quit claim deed". You may find that you can write and submit the documentation yourself to remove you wife (God Rest Her Soul) from the title. I did not use a lawyer to add the OG to my property some years after I purchased it.

Ever wonder what Muncie’s airport looks like at 8,000 feet?

Nice plane. My brother is the pilot in the family, tho I never fly with him (for the same reason the Navy stopped putting brothers on the same boat).

      Does This Constitute a Problem?

The answer to your question also applies to the following: When seconds count, the police are only minutes away. Why carrying a firearm in public with an empty chamber is a poor practice.

      Does This Constitute a Problem?

This is an old, well worn debate. It goes into the category of 5.56 vs .223, .308 vs. 7.62x51, potatoe vs. potato. The exercise of compressing and decompressing works the metal. The spring in a static state does not wear out the spring any faster. There, that's my opinion. YMMV.

      Firewood Season 2024

I am not flexible enough to test your statement. :laugh6:

      Firewood Season 2024

So, you know I had to check. I never realized the inside of my elbow to the tip of my middle finger is 16".   As for diameter, a 5"x 5"x 5" wedge shape is average for what we cut. And bigger than my forearm. We don't get any more money for smaller split wood, per se...

      Firewood Season 2024

I've sold a rick for $100 stacked (I don't have a dump trailer either, wish I did). I've been considering raising the price due to increased fuel costs, and equipment costs. The wood we season in the sheds comes out looking really nice. Appearance is important when you're demanding premium...

      Watch out for ticks.

Went morel hunting yesterday. Sprayed down with Deep Woods Off by the OG before we went out. Showered and checked for "friends" when we got home. Woke up at 2am this morning to a Lone Star crawling across my temple (I am a side sleeper). Didn't get much more sleep after that.
