Good stuff. One of the manufacturers I do not have yet. Wish I could say I had collection like that but I have some stuff I never thought I’d have so I can’t complain too much. Great to see another proud of their old warhorses.
My uncle really likes Hoosier Armory in Noblesville. I checked it out on his recommendation and they helped me with something on my M1 carbine for nothing. Nice people in there. Pretty cool selection as well if you like different and older types of guns.
Johnson County still has seized gun auctions. Not sure if the ones involved in serious crimes are destroyed but they don’t destroy them all. I know if your guns get stolen, good luck getting them back unless the perp is a total idiot. When it happened to me the only ones I got back are the ones...
I will never understand why something must be torn down from a hundreds of years ago because it is not all inclusive. Our country was not all inclusive at the time and this particular monument wasn’t made for everyone, it was made by Christian families for their loved ones. If it was blatantly...
It is just something other people have received with the Israeli imports. Nothing is definitive with m1 carbines. It may have been something century did or may be a batch from one particular place. Congrats on your Carbine and you can PM me if you have any specific questions about anything...

Make sure the top of the receiver says M1 on a carbine. M2 is a considered a machine gun even if it has no machine gun parts.
I bought my current car on offer up but it is full of scammers as well. They are usually easy to spot because the price will be super low and it will be listed in many large cities. Usually if you reply they will say they are in the military overseas and to send a Money order or online. Yeah...
If you getting one to shoot, get one with a type 3 barrel band. It helps accuracy by keeping the barrel steadier than the other bands. Blue sky import stamps on the side of the barrel can be problematic as well. It’s large and some were stamped so hard they deformed or bent the barrel.
