      My LASIK Experience Start-to-Finish

It is best to do Lasik in your early 20's. You will get a longer time without having to wear glasses. Once you hit your early to mid 40's your distance vision will still be good but the up close will be blurry due to your eyes not being able to focus like they once did. The biggest down side...

How come obama's class mates don't remember him ?

Wow I have seen the light from all the facts given at the start of this thread! Come to think of it I don't even remember his name being one of the choices to vote for in 2008. How did this happen? We have elected a figment of our imagination. Some one please tell McCain that he actually won...

Setting the record straight on Easter and Obama

This is not a religious post in any way but an answer to the "Obama didn't procaim Easter post" The last time a president made an Easter proclimation was 1980. Here is some of what Obama said at his Easter themed prayer breakfast: I wanted to host this breakfast for a simple reason --...

      lever action rifle hammer safety

I bought mine for 250 at a gun show and it was New in the box. That was the best deal I could find and about 1/2 the price of the nice used Winchester 94/22.

The Myth of Low Teacher Pay

@TJ I also had that same problem with the bs and ds. what finally helped me was to think of the word "bed" when you look at it you can pretend it is an actual bed with a head board and a foot the e is the matterss. A teacher taught me that and it stuck with me. Hope it helps with your girl.

The Myth of Low Teacher Pay

I think I have it figured out how to please those whom feel teachers are paid too much. We could take all the extra money that they make above whatever value you all deem appropriate, and we could give that money to the wealthy as another tax break. That way they can use all that extra money...

The Myth of Low Teacher Pay

Seniority raises are great if you're on the receiving end of them but put yourself in the employer's shoes. If you need a job done, and a 5 year man can do it as well as a 30 year man, why would you want to pay the extra salary of the 30 year man? Very true and if you can ship your 20 dollar...

The Myth of Low Teacher Pay

I don't think "nobody seems to care" but I do know that nobody seems to be able to control the rising cost of secondary education. During the time I was in school (not to be a teacher) my tuition went up 5% or more each year. It is sad that people try to better their futures by getting higher...
