      Question about SBR rules

      I agree with everything above. If you did want to travel with your SBR to other states, which SBR are legal, you would need to file a form 20 with the ATF and that takes a few mouths on average. I also agree, you should take a copy of your tax stamp when transporting your SBR.

      S&W Shield and Glock's 43, 43x, 48 are all great choices! I have see too many XD-S's fail to trust one.

      Pistol vs. SBR

      After reading your first post, I would suggest the pistol route. Pistols are less headaches and less cost than the sbr route, without almost zero trade offs. That said, if you want an sbr go for it. IMHO 10.3/10.5" < 11.5" for 5.56
