      Arca rail

I haven't bought any arca rails off amazon, but I have bought some pic rail sections and offset mounts. I've got a red dot and a laser as well. The laser was just for fun, not really to serve a purpose so I won't really count that (it worked but you can tell it's not gonna be overly durable). So...

      Sig P365 surprise today....

I'd definitely call back and be more emphatic that it was bought new and it was the first time being shot, Just reading through the conversation, it easily sounds like it was bought used and then it was HIS first time shooting it. I've had issues ( not with sig) with CSRs not understanding what...

      Accurate AR ammo

1:7 twist barrel From my personal experience, the winchester ammo always shoots poorly for accuracy. I had better luck with PPU and AAC for cheap AR ammo. I was getting 3-4" groups at 200 yards whereas the winchester was like 10" lol. I tried a box of Hornady black 75gr as well which was doing...

      Does This Constitute a Problem?

Rather than waste money on spare magazines I just buy more Hi Point C9s when they're on sale. When the magazine is empty, I throw that brick at the intruder and then pull out the next one. You think running a shotgun is enough to scare off a home invader?! Wait until they see you throw your...

      Acme 115 RN

Looks like the original question got answered. Just in case anybody wants a more in depth example and visual reference, I always found this to be helpful: https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=103620.0

      Flitz polish.

First time I've heard shiny brass may shoot worse. What's the reasoning behind that? Only thing I could think of is the idea that a protective layer may have formed on the brass and prevents a good seal/grip on the chamber wall.

      Steel Targets

Make it ring is great. They had some really good deals on black friday last year. Their customer service is responsive and helpful too!

      Cursed day of testing/zeroing guns

Damn, talk about a bad day. I've had a few but nowhere near that level lol. Closest I've had is when I was trying to zero a new scope on my 6.5cm. Usually I'll look down the bore to see if it looks good, then start at 50 for a few shots and move to 100 to fine tune a bit. Took a shot, adjusted...

why no love for the mossberg MC2C ?

Whoa, hold up there. This is the internet, you're not allowed to have your own opinion on things. I think you've got a good point though. It all comes down to whether you like the feel of it or not. Handling is definitely subjective and even shooting can be to an extent. It's nice to hear...

      Ruger logos question

According to this thread: https://www.thefirearmsforum.com/threads/red-and-black-ruger-logos-whats-the-difference.126490/ The logo changed color when Sturm died as a sign of mourning and changed back for their 50th anniversary. The text updated with the release of some newer firearms, likely...

why no love for the mossberg MC2C ?

Snoop pretty much hit the nail on the head. I've heard good things about them, but never seen one in person. I'd probably pick one up if I ever came across it for the right price. It'd be nice to get a chance to handle one though. Even better to get a chance to test fire one.

      I have a Taurus problem

I bought a G2C about a year ago when they had a rebate which dropped it down to $190. Its been reliable, but the performance isn't anything to brag about. My honest opinion is if you can save a bit more for a nicer gun, that's the route to go. If $200 is all you can spare, it'll work reliably...

      Legal question.

Or you could just call your FFL and ask them. Most likely you can just go to the FFL with her and she can fill out the transfer herself. They just need to know that the person who ordered the firearm is actually there to receive it and the firearm went to the intended customer.

      Deal!

I picked up a 6" 686 plus from them last week actually once I saw the rebate email from smith and wesson. Good time to grab one if you've been looking for one!

      Stock Piling

Unfortunately it seems like anymore you either hoard it or you go without. If you don't hoard it, someone else will because they're afraid if they don't then somebody else is going to. Common sense just isn't common. It'd be nice to see things normalize again and have people stop panic buying...
