      Sorry for not getting the pics up or a range report. My dad recently passed away so have had a lot of stuff going on. Going to his house today to go through guns and stuff. Hope to get some range time in today also.

      Thanks guys! I went for it! Figured I would get some flip up sights and a scope. Gonna use it for plinking and maybe take out a few coyotes and ground hogs. My local LGS had a Bushy CAR15 for $800! I just walked away. LOL

      I have a chance at a Stag SA3. Asking price is $900. I looked and saw most places are asking $1200 to $1300. Stag web page says $895 MSRP. Too much or should I go for it?

      New pistols!

      LD36 I got the Gen 3. It seems to be a good fit in my hand. I thought that a double stack would have been too wide. Tried out several but kept coming back to this one. Waiting on some warmer weather to get out and put some rounds throught it.:shoot:

      I picked up a Glock 21 this week and my wife bought a Diamondback DB9. Can't wait to get out to put some rounds through them! Will try to get pics up soon as I can.

      ongoing argument with friend - wont' carry in chamber

      I know a guy that thinks you shouldn't carry one in the chamber. He has his lifetime LTCH but hardly ever carries. Really makes me wonder why he even got his LTCH in the first place.

      What brand is the best self defence ammo?

      Are the Remington HD Ultimate Home Defense rounds basically Golden Saber in a different box with nickle plated cases? Trying to cash in on the self defense market maybe? :dunno: I believe they cost more than the Golden Sabers too. Please correct me if I am wrong.

      Where have all the 16g shotties gone?

      Love the 16ga! My dad and brother both have Model 12s. I have a Stevens copy. My dad also has a Savage semi-auto. I prefer them for hunting over the 20 and 12. Only use 12 for deer and coyote. We have no problem finding shells. We reload our own!

      Anybody hunting with a handgun?

      I have been using a Ruger Super Blackhawk 44mag this weekend. Missed a nice 6 pointer yesterday. Might go with a scope on it next year. Been seeing a huge number of bucks this year!

      CW45. Great little gun and very accurate. Recoil is not all that bad.
