I enjoy mine quite a bit. It's fairly lightweight, accurate and a smooth shooter. I shoot mine suppressed most of the time and so far no issues that I can remember. The trigger sucks, but now that Geissele has an MCX specific trigger I might have to upgrade.
I too suffer from AR fatigue. In fact, I don't even own one anymore. I have, or have had, Tavor SAR, Scar, X95, Beretta ARX 100, Sig MCX and Bushmaster ACR if we're strictly talking 5.56. I wish I still had the arx100 and ACR, but alas I'm broke and sometimes have to sell one gun to purchase...
My experience pretty much matches yours, gopurdue. I bought a PTP Scout .22 suppressor from my LGS who is a "Powered By Silencershop" dealer with the kiosk. My wife and I did the fingerprints there, the shop sent over the trust paperwork and Silencershop did the rest via email.

The triangle wth no arrow is pretty common from what I understand. I've owned 3 Wasr over the last few years and one had the triangle only. It's still made in the same factory. The lower marking I can not say. Proof mark?
It's a bolt hold open. Pull the changing handle back and press up on the tap, let the bolt ride forward and it will stop. Nice little feature on Saiga.
Ok one last question. Since we're basically going to be trading handguns, would we both be able to go through the same FFL? Say if I drive to a dealer in Kentucky to do the transfer would that ffl also be able to transfer my friends gun to me even though I'm an Indiana resident? Im under the...
