For first bow and shotgun season I will be somewhat choosy on bucks, but once muzzleloader comes around if I can fill my buck tag I will shoot any buck
Only time I grunt or snort wheeze is when I can actually see one to get him to turn. I do blind call with the doe bleat can but only during early rut and late rut, when they are seeking the few does that are in heat. During peak rut when most does are in heat, I dont even bother calling.
I hunt in Franklin County, and from experience I can say that there are a lot of people that just feel the need to shoot at everything, no matter where and what season. Last year I had to chase someone off of the private property I hunt because they emptied their gun at a deer about 80 yards...
Usually dont fall hunt but seeing them while bow hunting deer got me fired up. I am taking on the challenge of shooting one with the bow. hoping to get a deer and turkey with the same arrow. And with a deer already down....its turkey time!

I rabbit hunt a lot and i usually find that in spring you will see a lot more rabbits than in late summer or fall. Its not necisarily from them getting wiped out or anything, it can be anything from the thinning of cover in fall, to different food sources being available. They are just starting...
