I grew up in Jud'son'. Redneck heaven, but I'll be damned if I didn't love getting off that bus, going inside to grab my shotgun, and going straight to squirrel hunting! I miss the country dearly...
My wife and I visit the Bluejay Cafe (every other weekend) and I open carry there everytime. I...
I'm probably one of the few people in their mid 20s carrying a revolver and a smart phone EDC, but since my job often entails chainsaws or mud, I went with the reliable ol' .38 snubby SW 638 for my EDC.
The cylinder pressure spot kinda threw me off at first, but after a year of carry I...
I'm not surprised it took a long time to for someone to stop. People couldnt care less in helping others. I'm not a people person and even I have stopped at accidents to help people out if no help was present.
Once you've been in a flipped truck off the highway and watch all the jack-wagons...
+1. For the person saying that they wouldn't trust a gun that they could let get beat up, why not? My truck gun is a mossy 500 cutdown, the action functions fine. Just a little worse for wear on the outside, won't impress anyone with it, but that's not its purpose.
The one near me doesn't have any signs I'm aware of. I've open carried my g19 there at least twice.
Erm to stay on topic; carried my SW 638 IWB all day today like I always do! Made a stop at Menards for some water, keeping hydrated outside in the cold is more important than one would think!
I thought about changing out the sights on my 19, but after shooting it and improving the trigger, I see no need to spend more money on something I don't need. If it ain't broke!
Apex parts; just put a new apex sear in my shield last week and I can't stop dry firing it! It's still not a "perfect" trigger, but it's %100 better than stock. Lost like 2lbs of trigger pull and it's much smoother. Not bad for $40.
I do hope the trigger is much improved though, that was the...
You realize Target has openly alienated gun owners and stated they're not welcome in their stores?
I get my jeans from Walmart, $10-$12 a pair. RK jeans are nice, but they don't wear very comfortable with my belt/carry piece.
Most windows computers have hibernate enabled which allocates around 30gb or so of HDD space for this feature. I manually disabled mine because I never use it.
Also, for speed invest in a SSD and an i5 processor 2ghz+. That's about all I can offer for advice, I'll let the more tech-savvy ingoers...
:ugh::laugh:
They're trying to recruit minority officers? Maybe I'm just ignorant, but isn't seeking someone due to skin color just as bad as trying to avoid hiring them? Seems at that point it's more of a publicity stunt than anything else.
