      Well, yes and no. The app may not update, but a lot changes. I've just now started looking in to how they actually work and what it all entails. As put above, they are simply not plug and play long term solution. FireTV Stick. I figured it was presumed based on thread title.

      Never had anything but problems out of mine. Lots of updates and changes that keep it from working. If you can't maintain it, program it, I'd be leery to recommend one. Owned it for about a year, never once been able to watch a movie.

      Glue or PAD basement partition wall?

      I would glue it. If you decide to fasten it, I would opt for drilling with a mason bit and mounting it down with Tapcon screws.

      Add a bit more detail to your location. If you are close, I wouldn't have a problem helping you out. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes to diagnose.

      Would this be tacky?

      I don't judge. I put Kimber Aegis Rosewood grips on my Springfield 1911. Thinner and look a whole lot better than the stock Springfield grips.

      I had something similar happen to me. An older gentlemen pulled out in front of me and I had to swerve to miss his car. Hit a pothole while swerving and popped a tire.
