      Berretta 92 Variant Advice

      I have a 92FS and a 96A1. Incidentally the M9 platform is my favorite of all the pistols I've owned. Frankly if you can nab a FS that would be all that you would need. If you want a model with rails, get the A1.

      I love Berettas

      I own several handguns and by far my M92FS is my best and my favorite... I even like it more than my P226 Mk. 25 and H&K Mk. 23. That's how much I like Beretta.

      I've carried a P-83 multiple times, and they are very similar. The double action is awful, but it's easy enough for me to carry.

      I own a Bersa Thunder 380 CC, a Springfield 911, and a FEG R61. All three are great for carrying, but I also hear a lot of good about Ruger and S&W .380s.

      Well so far the width and all check out, but I'm starting to wonder if maybe the plate of the stock's attachment needs sanded. The back of the Mauser's handle got scuffed while trying to put it on.
