      1911's to avoid? $800 0r under

I have an american classic commander with the chrome slide and blue lower. The grips aren't great but it shoots perfect! I have over 2500 rounds through it with no ftf or fte. It feeds anything, even from old gi issue mags. An the fact that it was bought new for about $500.00, made it a great...

      IMPD Patrols

It's Ballards fault for letting the department fall to 1300 officers. There was 1650 when he took office. Now he has to pay back the cops grant to the tune of 4.3 million dollars which is why he is taking the police and fire raises to pay back the grant. It seems Mr. Straub wasn't smart enough...

      .40 vs .45??

Own them both and love both rounds. The .40 can do the job with no problem and is cheaper to shoot.

      Accidental Discharge

If there is a question that it is loaded, drop the mag, rack the slide several times then lock to the rear. Then visually and physically check the chamber. Can't go wrong with that. Sure beats pointing it at the window and hoping for the best!

      best glock

G23 gen 3. Comfortable and easy to shoot, small enough for concealed carry, can't beat it.

      air travel case for pistol

I have flown several times with handguns and long guns and everytime I have used tsa locks each time and have never had an issue. For my handgun I have used the manufactures hard case and kept my ammo in the factory boxes. For my long guns I used tsa locks and a pelican double rifle case. I...

      For LEO's

I am new to the forum, but not to being an leo. I have been for 25 years. I personally have never had any run in's with a permit holder. Either oc or cc, I just dont see much since in open carry myself. If I'm the bad guy an I walk in to a store and see your gun, you are already at a...
