Glad it worked out
Ric, thanks for sharing this thread with me, some of the comments made me smile. For those of you not fully familiar with this weapon, it was a nightmare right out of the box from Umarex. Thank God there are good people at Bradis who attempted to fix it and then gave me a...
This is the new Springfield LW Operator I purchased a few weeks back. It has a Streamlight TLR-4 mounted on the factory rail, which I feel is a perfect fit. It is a light/laser combo and is truly a sweet addition to this pistol. The pistol itself shoots very accurate. I've also added Hogue grips, an
It may sound a little strange, but a nice entry level tactical rifle for patrol use. (set up for a lefty) Free float rail with ability to add accessories, left hand safety (ambi would be ideal) forward grip, I'm still looking at mounted sights in holographic /red dot. Adjustable stock. Chrome...
Looking at getting my first AR15 to use as a patrol rifle. I'm a lefty, and have been looking into the RRAs LAR15, which is supposed to be a fully left handed AR rifle.
Any comments on this rifle? Suggestions on how to set it up? Experience, good or bad with RRAs. All input appreciated.
Look...
I would tend to agree with the above remarks. I'm glad to hear ours ran well. It was a different model than mine. I'd like to see some feedback from someone with another model R350CR. I'm sure mine was one that should have never made it thru quality control, or maybe it didn't and someone there...
Well today I took the pistol back to Bradis and spoke with shooter521. We reached a mutually acceptable compromise for an in store credit towards the purchase of a different pistol. I'm proud to announce ownership of a new Springfield Champion LW Operator. Very satisfied with this outcome. I...
I'm a little behind posting on tis thread, but I too am a SP and I had an ambi safety installed on my Kimber. My other two 1911 came with an ambi safety. As noted here before, you can learn to work the other features with your index finger, but it takes practice. After a short while, it is...
Wolfman, I was at ECPR back at the begining of August when I first got this pistol. The guy you describe sounds like me. I went up there first thing on that Saturday. Only stayed about 20 mins, as I kept having feed issues with my new gun. And yes, as I posted in the first thread I had 4...
I used both of the new Wilson mags I got yesterday when I picked it up. I used the Winchester ball ammo, Federal HPs, and wait until you see how it chewed and compressed those Hornaday polymer core rounds.
At what point do we accept the gun (or at least the frame) is unworkable and entertain...
Got the pistol back from Shooter521 on Tuesday evening. Took it out to the range this evening while at work and am still very disappointed in the performance. Multiple FTFs with target rounds and hollow points. Several rounds actually pushed back further into the casings because of the misfeeds...
ECPR? Educate me please on that one. The gun has been (and still is at the time of this writning) in the care of Bradis' Gun Smith getting repaired. I have been contacted that it is ready to be picked up and I plan to do that later this afternoon when I get off work. Once I have a chance to...
