      Question for current or former LEOs

      Say I get stopped by an officer because I was speeding. He gets to my car and asks for license and registration. If I’m carrying at the time, gun on my hip, should I tell him, or wait for him to ask? I’ve heard people say both ways and I would like to know what the people on here think.

      I’ve been looking at getting a .22 my dad has a Henry lever action that’s really nice, and my brother has a the heritage rough rider revolver and I think it’s neat. I’m trying to decide which route to take. Probably a cheap .22 rifle.

      The Gander Outdoors in my town was going out of business and .300 Win Mag was the only caliber they had the gun left in. I wanted .308, but it was cheap so I bought it. It doesn't kick quite as bad as I thought it would.
