Right, they are actually immediately engaging the safety, instead of vise versa draw establish grip disengage safety and shoot as fast as possible. I just don't see the concern on this one at MR but realize there's going to be multiple opinions
Ive been reading this waiting for you to come to your senses ;)
I personally do not have a problem with it if I was RO'ing. MR command given, shooter is under my supervision and did nothing I deem unsafe. Absolute worst case scenerio and what should be impossible they draw and shoot the target...
That sums it up for me too. I'll add the coated bullets is a drastic reduction in smoke compared to traditional lead. They shoot at least as accurate as any plated bullet I've shot. In my opinion, they've obsoleted the need for plated bullets in uspsa style shooting (except open).
Thanks to Steve and Dan, much appreciated.
The best part was watching coach and Dan shoot. Couldn't shoot that stage clean to save their life and got to blame in on "trying to mess up so you can practice RO'ing."
Was there ever any pros to this division?
-Limit to 10 round mags, everyone's mad bc not like real carry, antiquated, can't break stages down, whatever
-don't limit mags and you basically have poor mans open minor with crappy guns, more dumb
-no junk carry, everyone cries again
-no...

Looks fun to me.
Im not sure why we are debating/determining rules on the fly or talking about multiple guns. We don't typically shoot multiple guns at uspsa matches so logic would say we wouldn't start. I'm sure if uspsa makes it a provisional division...
I was listening to an old podcast hosting JJ Racuzza the other day. At age 9 he was shooting a 1911 with 185 pf rounds.
Not all kids are the same, maturity and responsibility aren't going to be a set age, the parents ultimately gotta make that call.
I agree with rvb, I've never seen value in first person vids. There's nothing wrong with them and cool to post up vids for others to watch, nothing wrong with that, but I don't think it's a great option from a training perspective.
I've not filmed my stages (with reg cam) as much as I would...
Probably not. I assume since you bought a 34, you'll shoot production. I can't say I've ever looked at the triggers you listed, but if you do go that route make sure its production division legal. When I shot a glock I messed with the trigger and had some light strikes so I ended up just running...
