      STI 1911 won’t go to slide lock reliably

      All my mags activate the slide stop, but it does feel gritty. I wouldn’t say it moves without interference

      STI 1911 won’t go to slide lock reliably

      I just bought an STI Trojan in 9mm and love the gun, but it won’t go to slide lock reliably. The gun and Wilson Combat mags are new. I shoot reloads, but I don’t think they are “too” light. I tried a lighter recoil spring, down to 7 lbs, but it still won’t go to slide lock every time...

      STI Trojan 9mm slide lock issue

      I just bought an STI Trojan in 9mm and 6 Wilson Combat mags. It wont reliably make slidelock with an empty mag. I thought it was just my light reloads, but it happens even with factory loads. Maybe a lighter recoil spring?
