      I think they are awesome. I don't see the weight as an issue, while they may be a bit heavier than AR9 equivalents it just equates to a really soft shooting fun gun.

      Absolutely beautiful gun, congratulations sir! I've wanted a 2011 for years but could never justify the price of mags, let alone the gun. I've been following things at STI pretty closely and by all accounts it sounds like its ran by a really stellar group of guys now.

      Side charging upper

      In my opinion a side charging upper is a solution for a problem that doesn’t exist. That being said, there are some decent ones out there and if it’s primarily going to be used for hunting it’ll boil down to personal preference.

      Just ordered a barrel and single port combo from parker mountain machine!

      Nice looking blaster. I’ve ran a P320 with one of the PMM single port compensators on it and love it. I’m in the midst of building a P320 with one of their “ultra compensators”. Any comped/ported pistol I’ve shot has ran 124’s just fine, I’d only urge staying clear of 115’s

      PWS Pro series uppers

      I've had the pleasure of owning and shooting some of the PWS MK. series of rifles and i can't say enough good about them. To my understanding the Pro series is the same operating system with out some of the "fancy" creature comforts.

      I got to handle their stuff at Copper Custom, I have to say I was pretty impressed, It's just so hard to compete at that price point in such an incredibly saturated market. I wouldn't be surprised is more "lesser known" brands pulled out.
