Two options for the new model T/C. The first is a Vortex Viper 1-4. I like it for the compact size and low zoom. The big down fall is at 1x the end of the suppressor is just outside the center circle for the crosshair. The other is an Athlon Talos 4-14. Really the only plus side is at 4x...
You should make plans to come back up in a couple weeks to attend the Dugger gun show. I skipped the Boot City show this weekend due to other obligations but I'm already planning on going to the Dugger show. I don't think it's next weekend but rather the weekend after that. I think last year...
Not sure how many of you have been following along, didn't know or maybe don't care but there is a company that is manufacturing new T/C Contender frames. Apparently an original wait list was started back in 2019 for these and it took the company some time to get tooling and produce prototypes...
After maybe 2 years of waiting I finally got my hands on one about 2 weeks ago. I've been told I need to shoot my guns more as the majority of the ones I've bought within the last 5-10 years have not been shot or have a very low round count. So far this one is unfired. It's currently wrapped...
Recently acquired an old Parker Bros 12ga SXS. Everything was matching serial numbers and when I checked the Parker Bros collectors website the SN put the year of manufacture as 1891. I haven't shot it. Mainly because I don't have any black powder shells.
It's an older Bushnell. I bought it in 2015. Daytime video is still pretty good but night time vids have never been that great. Sometimes they are but most of the time they aren't. This cam has been kind of a money pit for me. It takes 12 AA and since I leave it on video I run lithiums...
I pulled cards back on Labor Day and finally got through everything. Mainly because the last time I pulled cards was early April. Here's a little bobcat video I threw together. Located in Greene County.
They were moving good yesterday during my trek to Worthington from Sullivan. Seen a few out in the fields. Later on I'm less than a mile from my parents home and just missed a doe with my Ram. She got across the road after a hard brake on my part. I looked in my rear view and seen a small...
Mine is in tree fiddy legend and for the price it's hard to beat. Put 2 deer down with it in November. My next step is to acquire a .46 cal can so I can run the heavies all quiet like.
My season has pretty well come to a close. I put 2 down on Friday. The first was a lone doe that rolled through at 8:15am. I don't know if I flinched or she took a step as I was pulling the trigger but I hit her mid section. She took off but didn't run far. She stayed standing for a couple...
I only made it out for bow once and that was on Monday. Rest of the week was spent doing other stuff. We did sight guns in Friday so I think we're all ready to go. Taking the CVA Cascade 350 Legend out for the opener. It shot and grouped well. I would've liked to have shot it some more but...
There was a doe close to my home outside of Sullivan that had a massive growth on one of her back legs. I haven't seen her out in quite a while so I'm guessing she passed. She hobbled at best and couldn't run.
