I found this article from pistol-training.com helpful and I always refer new DA/SA shooters to it. Also, if you can, invest in a Laserlyt cartridge ( LINK) for your caliber. It gives observable feedback on your dryfire practices.
Several years ago, I made a large ammo purchase that shipped via UPS. They dropped off a damaged box with a bunch of loose rounds and hole in the box. Just dropped it even though a signature was required. There was a large sticker on the bax that read, "Return to Sender. Invalid Address"....yet...
If they looked at it and chose to replace the rifle, it must have been a hard failure indeed. Sounds like a solid upgrade.
I wonder if I could find something wrong with mine..... ;)
This got shelved for a while but:
300gr Sierra pro hunter flat nose HP on 34gr of H110 got me 1790fps.
I am going to plink with the rest of the pro hunter bullets and stick with the 325gr FTX . The BC will allow much flatter trajectory and slightly farther range.
Unlike the cases where a teen posts pictures on social media with guns or makes an overt threat against the school or fellow students, exactly what trigger mechanism are you looking for? What behavior indicates to you that violence is imminent?
