      I've seen 17hmr does really well on paper. Seems like a logical choice between 22lr and full powered 223. Haven't witnessed anyone I know who used it on the field yet. How well does it do as far as the terminal ballistics on flesh go?

      I haven't had much luck on paper with Sierra Gameking projectiles. Seems like my group triples in size compared to Matchkings. It might not matter much when it comes to hitting a deer's vitals. Have you experience large deviation like this on your rifle?

      Another thing worth testing is ammo in the cold for rifles. I've seen point of impact shifts quite a bit when you leave out ammo in extreme cold.
