Yes I can vouch for the Range Officers accuracy... It is a tack driver. I traded my Colt series 80 NRM in on it a few months ago after trying a co-workers R.O. Ive shot 600-700 rds of my reloads through it without a hiccup. Trigger was a bit gritty a first but its acceptable now.

Yes you need it. They work well. Always use the larger hole on the bottom so the powder dosent have a shelf to sit on.. Takes lots of trial and error to get the load you want but once you find the right combo and write it down, you are golden!
