I recently upgraded the cheap Hogue stock on my SPS Tactical to a XLR Element chassis. I'm extremely happy with it

I was also able to take advantage of the warm weather and shoot some steel from 200 all the way out to 650 yards.
Thanks, that's good to hear. I've had the gun for three years now and have never been a fan of the flimsy hogue stock, so I'm thinking I might as well upgrade. I was also looking at the MDT LSS but I like the fact that the xlr is all aluminum.
I know it's been a while since you've had it, but how did you like the xlr element chassis? I'm thinking of upgrading the stock on my Remington 700 spa tac and I'm leaning towards the element.
I'm pretty happy with it. It's my first red dot, so I really can't compare it to anything else, but it feels pretty rugged. It's pretty similar to the Sparc II.
Well, I've done some upgrades to my first AR.
I've added a Magpul grip, Vortex Sparc AR, and a Griffin Armament 13.5" Low Pro Rigid rail. I think it looks a lot better than it did when I first assembled it.
Aero precision was nice enough to send me a new parts kit. I haven't had a chance to shoot the rifle yet, but so far it hasn't acted up on me doing the same tests that I did with the other trigger group.
Thanks for your suggestions
Sorry, I have not. I will definitely do that tonight.
Edit:
SO I reinstalled the Aero trigger group, and I made sure the little spring was correctly installed. Its still has the same issue, just not as frequent. Even tho they prolly don't help, here's a few pictures
So i removed the dpms trigger from the lower, and noticed its set up completely different from the aero precision.
I've tried to contact Aero Precision, but havent heard back yet.
Sorry I havent had a chance to reinstall the trigger group. I checked to make sure the little spring has the fat end down, which it does. I takes some force to pull it out, and push it down. The disco does have blemishes on it, like knicks or some blueing that worn off. It didn't look like...
So I started my ar build a while ago and I completed it last month. In my search to save a little money I found an Aero Precision lower parts kit on ebay for cheaper than anywhere else. I've shot probably a hundred rounds without a problem, but then today it started acting like I had it set on...
I know this is basic compared to others, but its my first AR and I'm pretty happy with it
It consists of:
BCI defense Stripped lower
Aero Precision LPG
Mission First Tactical Minimalist stock
Bushmaster XM 15 complete upper
Rock River iron sights that my friend let me use until I get an optic
I have one of those Dicks Sporting Goods Savage model 11vt and I like it a lot. Its not a .308, but its a .223. It has an accutrigger and a heavy barrel. It also uses the same detachable magazines like the axis. I did get rid of the scope and put a Vortex Viper on it.
