      Yes a picture would have been better. My 3rd cousin made this for me. He said it’s called a 6 pin because it has 6 pins in the handle. He said it is an old style knife.

      You are correct. I would consider this a mid-grade for sure. I like to get the most out of any platform I use. I am usually the wildcard factor.

      The next question would be is 1:10 twist the right choice? I would like to have match rounds around 168 gr. I don't see going over 180 gr or under 150 gr.

      I am doing a build of the 12FV too in .308. Trying to decide between this barrel and the Shilen barrel. What contour did you go with? You happy with the accuracy?

      How do you like the barrel? I am looking a buying one to replace the barrel on my Savage FV .308. Will probably go with the heavy palma contour.

      I am looking for a new barrel for my Savage 12 FV .308. The rifle stock has been switched to a B&C stock. I have read a lot of positive reviews for Northland Shooter Supply. The offer the Criterion and Shilen pre-fit barrels. I will be going with a 26" and most likely the heavy palma contour...

      I have a 6 pin knife that was made by a family member. I would like a nice sheath made for it. I would prefer a leather one but would be ok with Kydex one. I want to be able to comfortably wear it. Any recommendations?
