Why all the hate on .40

A 10mm springfield compact? Really? Why go with such a short barrel length you aren't gonna take full advantage of 10mm power. Might as well get a .40 or .45 in that case

      Is the g19 obsolete

Going to stir the pot here. Is the glock 19 obsolete? Back 20 years ago it was probably one of the best pistols. However for concealed carry there seems to be 1.5 stack guns like the p365xl or hellcat or even a g48 with a shield arms magazine And for duty use, bigger higher capacity guns...

Why all the hate on .40

I feel the same way about .357 sig Sure it's a bit snappy, but i'm sure with a full size gun and the compensators we have today you could get recoil down to +p 9mm levels I'm actually looking to do a .357 sig gun for home defense

Why all the hate on .40

i'm gonna ask you a question about 10mm though. Show me a full power 700 Ft Ib + 10mm loading that doesn't penetrate deeper then 18 inches that expands more then a similar bullet in either .40 or 10mm loaded to FBI specs. I would like to see it as it seems either the bullets over expand or...

Why all the hate on .40

So i just got a police surplus glock 22, gun has minimal holster wear and looks unfired for like $260, but everyone seems to hate .40 with a passion, but why? I understand there's more recoil and it can be if it's happy, and in compact and subcompact guns it sucks to shoot, but it doesn't seem...

      Long(ish) Range Deer rifle

https://www.trijicon.com/products/product-family/trijicon-huron-2.5-10x40-hunting-rifle-scope This might be something you would want If i could have the absolute ideal for deer hunting i would have an AR with a 3-12 for daylight shooting then have an upper with an ACOG for dusk. I found an...

Sorry to necropost but lol my father in law solved this question for me. I got a savage axis in 6.5 creedmoor for christmas so that should be a fine gun for what i need. Here is the next question. What glass and scope rings should I get. I'm looking for something that is 2.5-10x or 3-9x...

      Long(ish) Range Deer rifle

Actually in terms of scope i was looking at a Trijicon 2.5-10x with a BDC that I was planning to test at distance. Also i'm not a trophy hunter. I just like to get out into nature and I want some meat in my freezer for my family to eat especially my son that hasn't been pumped full of soy and...

      Long(ish) Range Deer rifle

I hear you on the glass I'm looking hard at a Trijicon 2.5-10x instead of shooting, whatever 3x9 Bushnell low end vortex crap that comes bundled with the budget rifles i'm also looking for slightly heavier profile barrels and the magpul stock for a bit of a heavier gun and a threaded barrel...
