We have a light schedule today but limited staff so it will probably still feel busy. My uncle's funeral is today, and I couldn't get coverage at work so I could go.

I had no idea he was apparently having issues for a few months that were more serious. He has always had some health concerns...diabetic, crippled from a car accident back in the late 60's/early 70's and cardiac issues. The last time I saw him, he was on oxygen but seemed to be doing pretty well.

Sorry about your uncle. I am not sure I had seen that before.

Congratulations on your retirement plans, Expat. I look forward to being able to retire at some point. I still like my job most days so I'll keep on for a while.

I hadn't said anything here. I had posted his obit on FB for family that wanted the service info. My dad's younger brother died Sunday. Dad turned 89 Wednesday. His brother is the first of the five siblings to pass. I think we all assumed Dad would be first as the oldest who has had some fairly significant issues with his heart and then his stroke that he had about 7 years ago.
