THIS UPPER
Dog Bone Military M4 upper receiver with hardware, Premium and T- engraved marks
The Dog Bone upper receiver has been seen in the field with many M4 and M16 style rifles, and is highly desirable for military clone builders
These upper receivers are high quality 7075 aluminum forged and hard coat military grade anodized, with milspec hardware. The top is Engraved with T-marks. These are military grade uppers, which means there could be handling marks, and the finish might seem chalky. This will go well with a Colt or FN or LMT lower. These are made for performance, and not for finish, but they look great. The Dog Bone uppers are made by a company called Demco Group in Florida, and Demco is a medium-sized military contractor and makes a number of high tolerance machined products for firearms and aerospace sectors. The upper receivers are milled by Demco from either Mueller or Anchor Harvey forgings. The end result will be the same, but collectors seem to seek out the Mueller forgings. You get your pick. There are those who know and seek out the Dog Bone uppers and there are many who have never heard of them. Whichever you are, you will be very pleased to this upper part of your military style rifle build.
Features:
* mil-spec M4 / M16 standards * forged from 7075-T6 aluminum * Hard coated black anodizing * Demco made "Dog Bone" upper from Mueller forging * Hardware installed: port door and forward assist * M4 feed ramps (M4 marked above the gas port) * Engraved T-markings on upper rail - black * Standard 0.25" take down pinholes
THIS RAIL
DANIEL DEFENSE RIS II RAIL IN FDE
New, only opened for pics
Government packaging with foil and accessories
THIS BARREL
Milspec 14.5" SOCOM profile barrel with front sight post - from MMC
New Old Stock 1:7 twist 5.56 NATO military surplus barrel 08/17 stamped
The SOCOM barrel is an approved SOPMOD barrel, mostly seen in the US Military SOPMOD M4A1 carbine. The front sight post variety became the M4A1 Block 1 featuring the Knights Armament RAS quad rail, while there were also Block 2 rifles using the Daniel Defense RIS-II FSP rail, with the front sight post sticking out of the rail. Other Block 2 rifles with the flat top Daniel Defense RIS-II M4A1 rail used either a SOCOM barrel or an M4 Government profile barrel, both with the front sight posts removed and a Mk12 gas block from NAVSEA installed.
Colt and FN provided the bulk of the 14-1/2" SOCOM M4A1 barrels, but so did MMC, another government contractor. This barrel is a surplus barrel, new old stock from MMC. New old stock means that the barrel is new - never installed - but is old stock, probably sitting in a warehouse for a number of years. The barrel has been stored in oil and milspec plastic packaging and is in perfect shape, even including the cardboard wick. All government contract barrels were built to the same military specification.
Highlights
* Military spec SOCOM profile 14.5" barrel * fully chrome lined * 4140 Chrome Moly steel with a milspec button broach cut rifling in 1:7 twist * 5.56 NATO chambering * Factory installed "F" height front sight base with bayonet lug, taper pinned to barrel * milspec barrel nut included * CAGE code marked 2P237 * no muzzle device included * threaded for standard 5.56mm muzzle device at 1/2"-28 TPI * M4 feedramps on the barrel extension MMC (Mennies Machine Shop Company)
Upper, Rail, and Barrel. New, unassembled, never assembled $950
