      I have been looking into them recently. I've only looked at reviews thus far, haven't looked at one in person. It appears they are the same gun as the barrels swap over, though the nod seems to go to Springfield for trigger.

      They do matter to an extent, but aren't the first consideration. Unless of course your referring to a Hi-Point, that's a negligent discharge of industrial design.

      My guess is cost, one is likely easier(faster, cheaper) to produce than the other. Maybe they tried to improve some kind of premature wear. Give S&W a call, I'm sure they can provide an answer.

      My closest walmart (Camby) has been dry for a few weeks it seems. Just as well, I feel sick when I walk in the place. Their stores are filled with so much poor quality product in general, its amazing. EF! walmart

      If you don't already, you should be using Ad Block Plus, and Ghostery. Should block 99.9% of any ads or bad mojo. Consider an Antivirus other than old hat McAfee, or Norton.

      Trunk Mount - Gun Storage

      I have a buddy who works with a LEO and builds trunk safes all the time. They custom make them for patrol cars. They are friggen stout! Quality is top notch. I don't know if they do anything like that though.
