      Scandinavian Grind

Scandi are very sharp but thin edge. Great for bushcraft and other fine work. A simple leather strop is all you need to keep it sharp. Pick up a Mora for next to nothing and give it a try. A Scandi and a small axe are a great pair.

Why is OC more comfortable the CC?

I feel more comfortable with one in the chamber. I want it at the ready. God forbid I ever need it I don't want to waste any time. The less things I have to think about the better. G22 with one chambered and full mag. Just point and shoot :twocents: Do what feels right for you :yesway:

General prep work and inventory day!!

Great set up but I see some basic necessities missing. First aid kit, Some kind of food to keep energy up, water purification, and a way to transport it.

      Taurus 9mm Slimline

The one I have shot had the trigger break way to far back for me. Also had ejector troubles multiple times. would not pull the case out of the chamber and would try to feed new round in. This would also keep you from pulling the mag out because the new round was not all the way out of the mag...

      Favorite cigar

You can buy, sell, and trade pre embargo all you want. If you can find them. They were in the US before the trade laws so there is nothing illegal about them. Favorite is Padron 1964 Anniversary Maduro / PAM Anything Punch for my affordable smokes.

      Glock rough texture

I have a RTF2 23. Great to shoot but not to carry. Like others have said it sticks to cloths like Velcro. Also rubbed me raw while carrying. I hope it works out better to carry for you.

      Cast Iron cookware recommendations

Lodge! Do not waste your money on the cheep junk. Almost all my cookware is Lodge. Something like 10 pieces now. Got my first cast iron for camping. Loved it so much I started switching to all cast iron.

      Anyone ever found a gun?

Worked at a car dealership and found a pistol someone left in the glove box of one of our loaner cars. Just a good thing it was found before the car was loaned out to someone else. That could have ended in a bad way.

      The Sickest Thing Ever

I have both and they are both great knives. The two shall never meat like this. I don't see how this test proves anything. I just looked at both and the BK2 has a thiner edge than the ESEE 5. Go figure the thiner edge lost:dunno:

Mass letter campaign to Glock ??

A carbine would be nice. I have been wanting to get a Ruger PC4 to go with my P94. I would much rather have a GLOCK carbine. I would also like to see a GLOCK .22LR but that will never happen.

      Any whittlers?

Mora makes some good carving and spoon knives. Results for Knives:MORA Carving Mora are inexpensive knives but are built tough and use good steel.
