I played cornet in high school, trumpet at Purdue and in dance bands around the state for 15 - 20 years. Still have my Benge trumpet and Bach shepherd's hook cornet. Tried guitar for a while, couldn't really get into it. I do have a couple of nice Martins though.
S&W semi-auto model numbers are so confusing. Not sure which of these are actually considered 3rd gen.

I think the 'SH' serial number dates it to the early '80's. I have a Victor from the same time period and three earlier Hamden High-Standards. Really nice guns.
