They put political topics in the members only forum last week.
Too little to late.
Arfcom had a huge membership, 250,000 + and they just got turned off.
I've got friends over across the toll bridge, I wish I'd seen this in time to give them a heads up!
The only thing better is a gun buyback. Always keep a broke Davis 380 in the parts bin to cash in!
A buddy got $100 for a Jennings 22, broke firing pin & no mag.

I've owned a Browning safe for 24 years and would recommend the brand without hesitation.
No electronic dial and heavy steel. I paid $1200 for it new.
As others have said, if you have kids in the house a safe is a must.

Temper everything you hear in the news about President Trump with this: What if Hillary Clinton had won?
I don't care about anything but the fact that she's not there.
You can harp and complain about what he does or doesn't do but it means nothing compared to that.

Thanks!
I've never stripped down every part of semi-auto.
Well yes I did. I took a Ruger MKI apart back before Youtube and it was a train wreck for me to reassemble!:):
Only thing I can think of you might have to do is replace a hammer or trigger someday to fix pushoff in a revolver.
Other than...
What does a "detail strip" consist of?
I understand a "field strip" of a semi-auto pistol, I think. That would be removing the slide from the frame the guide rod and spring, barrel and whatever else a particular brand of pistol had in the slide of the pistol.
I have S&W revolvers and shoot them...
As you may gather from my avatar, I'm partial to S&W revolvers.
As has been stated a Mod 34 has become pricey and the new Mod 63 might be a better choice for what your looking for but I don't think you'll go wrong with either.
I agree with the line of thinking of buying a rimfire for fun and...
BHC 06XX is probably early 1991.
The thing on S&W serial numbers is by the time they got to letters and numbers they didn't always go in alphabetic order.
They'd stop, go to a different set of letters and later on return to where they stopped and had numbers left to use.
Over on the S&W forum...
Yeah the gun will come back with an "M" stamp from S&W to show that's it's had the work done.
The 586 is the S&W Python in my opinion.
Try the Remington 125 gr SJHP in it when it gets back.
Hot and accurate rounds in my 586.

The "alphanumeric" - letters followed by numbers - serial numbers began in 1980.
The S&W L frames, your Mod 586, were the first S&W's produced with this type of serial number.
Yours then was produced in 1980-81 with some of that serial number as late as Oct of 1982. It's is very nice 357, one of...
I have high hopes and believe he's the right man for the job.
I've watched the inaugural address three times and I love it.
The fact that the MSM and women in pink hats are protesting thrill me to no end.
Avenge us, Mr President.

Interesting post ClydeB. I haven't signed up for the transponder yet because we travel across the bridge so infrequently.
But I did have to go to Louisville last Saturday & I went to the 2nd street bridge and found it to be OK with moderate traffic and a quick trip back to I-65.
I have used the...
