      Red Dot Batteries

      Curious, does anyone pull the batteries out of their red dots if they are sitting on a gun in the safe for a while? I haven't been shooting much lately due to ammo costs so wondering if leaving batteries in is a good idea or if I should pull them.

      AIMPOINT PRO

      Just got this red dot and want to remove the spacer to lower the sight. I have removed the screws that hold the locking base but can get the 'spacer' out. The instructions show this should separate but can't budge it. Does is slide forward, sideways, or do I have to pry it?? It is pretty tight...
