      Concrete Tent?

      Light weight

      I want to put together a light weight bolt action and am not sure where to start. I know a skinny barrel is important but also a good synthetic stock is lighter than wood. This would mostly be for hunting in KY but also do some coyote shooting here. Anyone done this? How light did you go and...

      Bedding for a McMillan stock?

      I lucked into a good deal on a McMillan HTG stock for my 700 and was wondering if I can bed it the same way as any other stock? ie I use Acraglass and bed the whole underside of the action. Pillars or no pillars?

      All around hunting rifle

      Later this year I'll probably be moving to my in laws farm in Kentucky. Since rifles are legal for deer hunting I am thinking I need to get one for that, but it would nice to have just one all around rifle for hunting and SHTF and plinking. Kind of the beware the man with one rifle thing...

      You favorite rings and mounts?

      I have a new coyote gun and need to get some rings to mount a scope. It is a TC Encore in 204 Ruger and I have a picatinny rail on top. Thinking I want steel rings but when I went to the gun shop it seems like there are a bunch that will work do I wanted to FR some opinions.

      sub MOA vanguard trigger

      I found a good deal on a sub MOA marked Weatherby Vanguard in 308 a couple weeks ago. The trigger had a lot (to me) of slop in it. I adjusted it out to where it breaks nicely but now the safety won't go on. Anyone worked on these before? It doesn't slam fire and passes a smack on the butt test...

      Buck activity

      For those of you still out hunting are you still seeing buck activity? I am wanting to get back out with my bow since I haven't been able to get a muzzleloader yet but I haven't had the chance to. Just wondering if the bucks are still going at it.

      "Twisted" bolt?

      I have seen a lot of pictures of bolt action rifles where the bolt looks like it is twisted, or fluted or something like that. Mostly on custom guns I think. Can bolts like that be had for any regular gun as well? Is it just for looks or is there some other advantage?

      Bolts in or out for storage?

      For those of you with bolt action rifles, do you store them with the bolts installed or not? I just got a cheap gun locker (used homak) and the bolt handles sticking out make things kind of tight getting guns in and out.       Kel-tec's Saiga killer?

      No price announced that I know of, and if the RFB is any predictor the street price will be quite a bit higher, but this might draw some Saiga customers. Has 2 mag tubes with a feed selector.
