      I can only speak about one I own. It is a PM40 that I bought about 10/12 years ago. It has never malfunctioned in several hundred rds.

      22 pistol for wife for protection

      I own both, a Keltec p32 and a Keltec P3AT. The P32 has quite a bit less recoil and is very reliable. You might consider one of them for her.

      Rossi Worth A Chance

      Owned a couple Rossi handguns. 1 was ok. 1 had timing problems. I would rather own a used S&W with a little finish wear, than a new Rossi. Just my personal opinion.

      P3AT FTE

      I own a P3AT, have shot several boxes of differant brands of ammo thru it, and 100% function every time. I think, not sure, that there were 1st and 2nd generations on them.
