      Place to shoot full auto

True. However, you have to be a member or be there with a member to shoot anywhere on site as well as an additional "class" by the member to get a key/access to the FA area.

Best towns/ sheriffs for NFA in Indiana

Both the current and the past Sheriff have been good to go with this. They Charge $10 for doing the prints. The county does ink, the city does digital.

Thanks!!! No pressure on this end though - This is a very nice site you have here and I have long wished for a site that was more "local" than the hometown forum on ar15.com.

Although I am a huge fan of Electronic muffs at the range and even in the woods - I would think if I heard something go bump in the middle of the night at home they would probably not be the first thing on my mind. 100rnd AR15 Drum, fun, but is it practical?

Is that a true Beta mag or one of the knock offs? They are fun for mag dumps but for personal defense I would stick with 30s.

      1500 AR's

The market is certainly down, but it is not completely dead. The manufacture and makeup of the parts will tell if the rifle you have is worth $500 or $900+. What do you have?

Thanks! And thanks again for the info. It did help! I finally found the rules. I sent $11 PP right after I signed up, before I posted. However, it apparently takes a bit for the upgrade to be activated.

      Centerfire Systems

Yes, they are nice people. No showroom as said above. If you go down there - about half a mile away is a restaurant called "Ricardo's" in an old train station. Try something called the "Hot Brown" - that alone is about worth the drive.

Impact Training Group Defensive Pistol 1

That is indeed the Old Blackwater location. I have been there a few times and if they are the same instructors - they are LEOs from the local SWAT team. ETA - Eric Davis runs the place according to a google search.

Wow, that was a fast warm welcome! Thanks and Merry Christmas to you guys as well. I am surprised that I am just finding this place - considering how much time I waste on the net and all.. I have been reading the past threads, and I believe you are right, I am going to like it here! ETA - Is...

      Cheap MRE's

The temperature that they are stored is about as important as the manufacture date. Shelf life deteriorates quickly the higher the temperature.
