For a dropleg holster why not go with the blackhawk SERPA holster? I have two one for my 1911 and one for my Duty Glock 21, Glock dropleg is light bearing.
Great weapon, but the mags do suck you have to break them in dont load 10 right off the bat load 3-4 for a while then 5-7 then 8-10. I loaded 10 at first and had problems with feeding then a guy at the range told me that you have to break them in. Tack-drivers though for sure.
So shoot it once or a couple of times, then go and try again. This rifle is just a project but it is getting really aggravating lol, and the wife is getting tired of me spending time cleaning it instead of doing other things (aka her things) around the house.
No its the barrel, I cant get all of the residue out of it. It will not shine, I took tips from the thread accurizing the mosin and still can't get the son of a gun clean, I got the chamber cleaned with the drill and 12ga brush and even used the drill on the barrel keep getting carbon residue...
Every time I goto the gun shop I have to handle the 10ga. Like you I dont know if I would use it for anything practical it would just be one of those things you can say "Yeah I got one of those...jealous?"
Ok guys need some help, I've been cleaning my Mosin on and off for the past month letting it soak in Windex, Hoppes 9, used Never Dull, etc. still can't get all the crap out of it. I've scrubbed and scrubbed, even used hot water and soap, still getting dirty patches and dirty jabs of Never Dull...
I have large hands and long fingers my 2 favorite and best shooting handguns are my Kimber 1911 w/ custom Punisher Grips and the .44mag Desert Eagle very accurate weapons also both are CC on a regular basis depending on which one feels better for the day
Coldsteel Tanto if you got the cash, I love my Coldsteel knive and they have videos to show you what your buying. They vary in length as well and are all fixed blades.
It's a pretty reasonable price if in good condition I have one and from what I've heard from a few DNR officers it is talked about becoming a legal deer hunting rifle but it is here say so don't hold me too it. It's a fun gun to shoot, if you don't reload I would recomend it if you did purchase...
@Lucas156
You poke fun but what if your firearm malfuntions, I do not soley rely on any one weapon, call me over protective but I dont risk the saftey of my Woman or newborn if a situation does arise, mutiple stratigies equal better odd
I this situation I would draw my weapon, because if someone is within 21ft studies show they will get to you before you get your sidearm, this is where training and skills come into play. There are different response to different situation no arguement there.
Ill tell you what if someone can get my weapon they deserve it no question about it, I carry multiple tool and use my firearm as a last resort, I am in very good shape and grew up with 3 older brother and when we fight its 100% with hand-to-hand, and a blade (if used right) can be much more...
