      I never said I was or have been shooting here. Nor do I plan on it now. Hense the reason for this thread. I could build a big backstop but I just don't think its worth the risk. Atturberry is only 20 mins away, I have been goin there every weekend anyway, why stop now! :)

      My main though was I would be shooting "down" if I was standing on my deck. I was just concered with a bounce off a rock in the field or something crazy!

      Marlin Model 60

      I just bought a new one a few days ago. Seems like a good little shooter. I have already put a few hundred rounds thur it :) I did pull the whole thing apart and deburred and polished the bolt/feed ramp etc. Fathouse

      This is my back yard. I live out side of city limits so I am pretty sure it is legal to shoot on my property. What I am wanting to do is set some steel targets out by my fence and shoot them with my .22 rifle. There is a big field between me and the next country road which has houses on...

      Should I spend the extra $ for a heavy bullet for the 1:7 twist barrel or does it not matter on "short" range stuff.
