To my understanding if you add a forward grip to any weapon, even my rimfire, this falls under the law as an AOW, correct ? Seems silly to have to get a $200 stamp from .gov to put a $20 item on my rifle to make it more fun to shoot. Please advise.
I can get around the SBR stamp with a TacSol SB-X barrel to keep length down with a suppressor. Maybe one of their X- ring's that's threaded for a kicks butt brake.
Very interesting thread. I'm contemplating the same scenario myself. I like the idea of an integral barrel for my upcoming 10/22 build but having 2 rifles with different intended purposes (beer cans vs sub MOA grouping) it makes more sense to have a screw on can.
