Sweet, thanks guys. Yes, the 458 will be strictly for deer. That's good to know I need a lower built around the larger caliper. Man, this new hobby I am about to jump into is expensive. Maybe I should stay ou while the gettin is good, lol.
Thanks again.
Mine does that too. Can only get about ten shots off before she jams after a good cleaning. Was not shooting the laquer ammo either, but the galvanized orange like casings. I may try what the guy above said as well.
Best of luck,
Okay, so I want to get into AR frames. Shot a DPMS and a S&W MP 223's last week, and thought the S&W shot a lot smoother. A guy told me that was due to having all bells and whistles though, but I really liked it. Here is my thought though and wanted to see if anyone else does this as well. I am...
The cammo job looks like out of the box, very nice. Are the patterns you used stencil or stick-ons, or did you create them yourself? Maybe one day my little girl will get into plinking with 22's. Only thing stopping her is MOTHER, lol.
Congrats,
I like it! I am starting to get into these AR's. Doing my research and learning as much as I can when I have the time. I hope to have one by years end.
Best Regards,:ar15:
Okay, I may be off here, as I did some quick searching on midwayusa for ammo pricing, but as I am a newbie to the AR world myself, I will purchase mine based on the cheapest, long term ammo pricing. I am not a sniper,(wish I was) and this hobby I am finally joining is expensive, so the best...
I just purchase a Savage Mark II G, but have not found the time to shoot the beast. Have heard nothing bad about them. The gun is pre-Accu trigger too. I would look into an old bolt action Winchester, say model 67 or 69.
Best Regards,
I'd like to think that most kids started out hunting their first deer with a 20 ga.; I know I did. I see no reason for a man not to use one either. With that said, a person may want to look into a .410 as well. Yes, you have to be a more accurate shot, but the little guy has take down power...
Very nice might I say. Makes me want to find an oldy and fix her up. The metal parts look almost brand new. I'd be interested in knowing what the bolt action looked like after several rounds fed, to see if the paint is that good.
Best Regards,
Just bought a Savage Mark II G the other day. Came with a scope and bi-pod already. Could not really pass the deal up. Hope to shoot the gun this week!
Best Regards,
These gun pics you guy's posted are awesome! I wish I didn't have such a problem spending money on toy's, lol. Stiller 260, have to look into that. Mabye that is a partial name or something, casue I have never heard of it. Just getting into them as well, so wouldn't surprise me I don't...
We are heading up to Bass & Bucks next week over break. I don't have anything to shoot at that type of range. Any suggestions? I doubt I have time to purchase one before then, but I would try, lol
Best Regards,
