      Picky Beretta m9-92fs

The Luger is the brand of ammo, I purchased it from Rural King. One magazine came with the gun, the other 3 I purchased from a member on here and they are the same magazines as the one that came with his. He's thinking it might need a bit of oiling up so we will see. I'll see about taking it...

      Picky Beretta m9-92fs

So my husband took his beretta to the range today for the first time since 2000 (I think he shot it only once), first magazine had no issues but from that point on there was constant misfire, and "stove-piping" or jamming. We had used Luger brand, and we're both hoping that maybe the bastard was...

Need help figuring out the model of this Beretta.

Alright, so I asked my husband and he gave me some details, surprisingly he remembers. He bought it in 2000, it did come with a 10 round mag (which is the one missing) and the store owner sold him the 15 round mag.

Need help figuring out the model of this Beretta.

Strange, it was sold to him with a 15 rounder that it still has, I'm sure he has no recollection of the other magazine. I met my husband in 2002 and don't recall if he had this gun then or had already sold it to his brother, but I'm pretty sure he bought it at either a local gun store or pawn...

Need help figuring out the model of this Beretta.

Lol, yeah I feel stupid. I could've sworn I looked on the other side but I guess I assumed it said the same thing as the left side of the barrel (The First Decade 1985-1995 blah blah. It states America's Defender Beretta M9-92FS So yeah, that answers my question lol.

Need help figuring out the model of this Beretta.

My husband bought back in the 90's, sold it to his brother and then bought it back like 2-3 years ago. It originally came with 2 magazines but apparently his brother lost the other one so he's wanting to buy 1 or two extra magazines, but I need to know the model of this damn thing. It's a 9mm...

      Question about a make-shift range

Hmmmm.... yeah it is more isolated but the people I've encountered seem really nice out there. As far as another way out for a vehicle.... one way, but on foot there are plenty. I have two magazines currently, but when I did go up there I only used one while keeping the other one loaded with...

      Question about a make-shift range

Sounds right and yes that name definitely clicked although I couldn't remember off the top of my head, it looks like land that the coal mining would own and used to mine. I'm pretty sure those "lakes" are pits that they once mined. But what does that mean? Is it private, I don't think the owners...

      Question about a make-shift range

Okay, I'm not sure if anybody lives down or near Evansville and Chandler, or even near the Bluegrass Fish & Wildlife refuge. But off of New Harmony Rd, just a few miles from the Bluegrass Fish & Wildlife Refuge and a few miles from this large mine is a narrow drive that goes up to a very old...

Someone Please Explain the Deer hunting licenses

Money isn't really so much the issue, but like I've discussed with my husband, I want to start getting more independent and less dependent on society and grocery stores. Plus, I've watched the videos of behind the scenes at slaughterhouses and it makes me sick at how the cattle, pigs and poultry...

Someone Please Explain the Deer hunting licenses

Okay, I like the bundle license much better. Not sure if my first time will be next season or the following, but I'm interested in it for the meat, not so much the rack. It just had me confused because it says in the first question: Can I use my Firearms License to take an antlerless deer which...

Someone Please Explain the Deer hunting licenses

: Deer Hunting Questions & Answers I see a license for antlered, a license for antlerless, but then I read something about a firearms license.... Can someone please explain this to me better than the DNR website :dunno: Basically, explain it like you would to a kid or an idiot, or a newbie...

Targets allowed at Sugar Ridge Gun Range

Last time I was there I saw wooden posts and stuff like that, but I am not sure if it has changed. It is public and the DNR apparently do make their occasional stops. They do have a facebook forum page, I could ask on there.....

Targets allowed at Sugar Ridge Gun Range

I'm not worried about the holster part, just wanted to confirm the target issue :) :) Another stupid question, since I had gone along with my husband that time and didn't put any targets up, how does one normally put the paper target up? I live half an hour away, so I don't want to get there...

Targets allowed at Sugar Ridge Gun Range

I haven't been up there since 2012, and I remember there were some empty 1 gal jugs being used as targets but now I have been told by a couple friends that you only use paper targets. Is this true? I've got a lot of aluminum cans I would really love to use as targets for my Ruger SR40C and my...

Help me pick out a bolt action rifle

Well, I went and picked/purchased my RAR yesterday! The guys at Right to Bear Arms were really helpful and really nice, I also got a free one hour range time card, wasn't able to test it out yesterday but I will next weekend :):):) I love it, from the moment I held it and looked it over and then...

Help me pick out a bolt action rifle

Damn it, I really want to get to a LGS and touch them, and hold them lol. Hopefully sometime this week I can, the husband wants to come along and it's hard to get him out of the shop/office....

Help me pick out a bolt action rifle

I could definitely do that, I haven't looked the dimensions and reviews on youth rifles yet, even the RAR youths.

Help me pick out a bolt action rifle

I didn't say the plan was for my son to use this in the future, I'd most likely start him off with a 22 or youth size of his own choice. And if I decide to hunt before a SHTF scenario, then I could always use my stepson's 30-06. At this point I want a rifle I can call my own that can handle 2-3...
