Where did you OC today thread: Part 2

Carried my Tanfoglio Witness in 10mm. Usually have my PPK in my pocket but i felt like a bit of OC lately. Not just today but the last few days ive been to: Old National bank, Walmart, taco bell, village pantry, and on several miles worth of walks around town. No strange looks, no MWAG calls...

      Brady Campaign Propaganda

For all you nay-sayers, I bring evidence of it being real. I rarely post here on INGO but seeing as I was there I feel the need to speak. There are several screenshots of when it was post but one stands out. imgur: the simple image sharer I was browsing another gun forum several months ago and...

What is the best buy you ever made at the 1500?

Earlier this year I bought an Interarms built Walther PPK for about $300, found out its worth a couple hundred more than that. It's been kept in great condition and shoots well. Earlier today at the 1500 I picked up a Webley mk VI revolver for close to $500. I'm not sure if it was that great of...

Are you going to shoot up the place?

Mrortega, that is a fantastic idea, next time im at my range ill practice using a cross-draw and see if i feel comfortable using it. I guess i should have used better wording than "i SHOT THE GUY a look", should have caught that before i post :):

Are you going to shoot up the place?

Thank you everyone for the advice, it was what i was looking for. Scutter, i think im going to look into these force-on-force classes. I know i can shoot well but like you said there were alarm bells going off in my head that i did not know what to do if he would have tried to take my gun. im...

Are you going to shoot up the place?

goinggreyfast, it is exactly as you had said and that was another reason i did it. the guy was on my right side, the same side with my firearm. when i turned to the left, it brought the firearm further from him and allowed me to put my arm down by my side- between him and my gun.

Are you going to shoot up the place?

As far as getting training, i would jump at the oppertunity. Im always very safe around firearms having grown up around them. I am a huge advocate of constant trigger discipline and general firearm safety. the only thing i knew to do if he had reached for my firearm (which he didnt seem like he...

Are you going to shoot up the place?

I was at the Circle K on 17th street and Central. I was aware that he was coming to stand in like, but i just was not prepaired for him to come that close to me and start saying things like that. I dont believe he was threatining me, he may have even been trying to make a joke but i wasnt...

Are you going to shoot up the place?

Scutter, I take pride on my situational awareness. I had noticed the guy approaching but i thought he was just going to get in line behind me like the other people had, what i did not expect was for him to just keep moving foreward and come to stand RIGHT next to me. If the lady at the counter...

Are you going to shoot up the place?

Hello, INGO! As you can see, i'm still fairly new around here. I've been lurking the site for several months but i rarely post. I want to be more active in the community here so i thought i'd share a story on my first negative OC experience. About two weeks ago i got my LTCH in the mail. it...

Would you carry where its a no guns sign

THIS^ I could not agree more. The signs are only there to prevent HONEST people from carrying guns. If a bad guy wants to carry hes going to carry. Personally i feel the same as many others in this thread, i will carry unless prohibited by law or if i am asked to leave.

That is great to hear, Caleb. My father has had his LTCH longer than ive been alive and to my knowledge he has never had any problems carrying.

Who OC's and is under 25 years old?

Im 21 and I just got my LTCH less than a week ago. I own two handguns, a walther PPK for CC and a Taurus PT1911 for OC. I thought i would have liked to CC but after carrying my 1911 OC i think that's what i will stick with. I also feel that i can aim better with a full frame handgun as it fits...
