Was shooting with my buddy and he has a DPMS Oracle AR-15. During the shooting his trigger started to perform differently but still functioned. When pulled it would at about the half way point "click" as if setting a double trigger and then would fire. Anyone else have problems like this...
I am sure its on here but after an hour at work today looking I gave up and started this thread.
I reloaded with my uncle before and was more the assembler than anything else. I was given all the equipment recently to start reloading some handgun rounds. (Totally a major score!) I can't...
Looking for new bolt action coyote riffle. I have an AR in 223 but isn't doing what i need in the long range. Was considering .243 or 22-250. Both give me a little more punch at the longer distance. Thoughts? Pro's/Con's. Interested in what some others are using and have found with each.
I was at the range Saturday, which is always a good thing, and found that the red dot scope that I had on my T/C Contender in 35Rem is just not satisfactory and I don't think it will hanle the recoil from the round. Does anyone have a good recomnedation as to new scope with decent cost (<$300)...
my best friends daughter told him shw was tired of duck hunting and wanted to go deer hunting this year. We worked with her with my Wicked Ridge crossbow and second day of the youth hunt had this wonderful first buck come within range. After she shot she asked if she hit it. Her dad's anwer...
Last night one of my coyote hunting buddies told me that Indiana has made it legal to hunt coyotes with suppressed weapons? Anyone hear this as well???????:dunno:
is anyone else on the email list from kankakee FWA? If so did you see the latest one about volunteers to camo corn blinds?
I am sorry but I have paid several hundred dollars already this year for hunting fees that pay there salary, did they forget that those of us who hunt state property...
I have a MOSIN that I have cut down and modified and pretty much made into my long range Coyote gun. I am going to duracoat the barrel and all metal parts, but i want to have a little contrast between the gun and stock, does the Plastic spray paint made by Krylon (i think) work pretty good on...
Looking for help. I am looking at getting a new Coyote shotgun. Looking at 870 Tactical as of now but not sold due to recent horror stories about Remington guns. Would love Benelli M4 but budget doesn't support it. Will be shooting Buckshot primarily. Not a huge Mossberg fan either.
I have a 3-9x40 Leupold on my AR, it is difficult in a hurry to charge with the stock charging handle. I was looking at Gunfighter charging handle but not sure if a medium or large handle would be better. Anyone have similar problem and what did you choose to fix it?
THANKS!
i have been shooting in GSSF indoor league for 2 months now. I shoot both G22 and G23 (40S&W). my question is why do i shoot my G23 significantly better than my G22? Everything about longer barrels and bigger frames for accuracy and weight are gone as soon as I pick up my G23, yesterday I...
I have been reloading trap loads and game loads for some time. My friend asked if I would reload some buck shot for coyote hunting as he had access to some 00 Buck pellets. There is alot of load data in the books for them but I have not tried these and worry (as it is new). I am going to be...
So i was heading home from a business trip in Ohio and decided to stop in to a very unique looking store front on Route 30! I am pretty sure the name of the place is GunTown. The store front looks like a picture from the old west days. Place is clean and well stocked with a wide variety of...
So I recently signed up for GSSF membership and took advantage of the 2 year membership so that i can get the discount on a new GLOCK! The problem I am having is I can not find any dealers in NW indiana that are willing to honor it. Can anyone tell me if they have had the same problem? And/or...
