New 1 million gallon water filter!

That looks like a good set-up. For backpacking I bet you could rig it up to a old Camelbak pouch or MSR dromedary bag. Chemically treated water tastes lousy and hand pumping get's old real fast at the end of a long day. edit: should have known....they already thought about a dual bag...

      Dry firing

I feel that dry firing is very beneficial. Whether it's before a range session or just an extra 5 min. you have while doing things around the house. I've been making an effort recently to shoot better with both eyes open. Whenever I get a chance I'll take 25-50 dry fires either from low ready or...

      Strategies for Moms with Kids

I do this as well. It's amazing how many people are either so focused on what they are doing that they don't know I'm looking at them or they purposely won't make eye contact. It's not like I'm glaring....I smile at people....:)

      New Kydex Hobby

Those look really nice. Even rivet spacing and edge distances make all the difference in the end product. I've been thinking about making a press that looks like this one from knifekits.com. Sheath Molding Press - Bench Model - (8 x 12) There's lots of good info on sheath and holster...

      Where were you on 9-11-2001?

I was a senior in high school and we had just sat down in a elective history class when another teacher came in and said something to our teacher. He told us what was happening and found a TV so that we could watch the news. After that class none of the teachers I had that day would let us watch...

Nice! I purchased his book at the last Lafayette gun show. A great resource to have but this will help in staying updated on more recent changes.
