I have stayed away from kit builds and parts kit guns. I like my AK's foreign. Even though the Arsenal Inc milled AK receivers are made in the US they are real Bulgarian receivers. I would not buy a gun at the 1500 the only good deals I see there for guns are ones that come in with the crowd.

Sounds like a misr-90 which is a Maadi reciever with a slant cut at the rear with a MAK90 parts kit mated to it. If that is the case stay away, no matter how much AK's go up in price I still would not own one of those.
