      Advice for Buying AK's

      I have stayed away from kit builds and parts kit guns. I like my AK's foreign. Even though the Arsenal Inc milled AK receivers are made in the US they are real Bulgarian receivers. I would not buy a gun at the 1500 the only good deals I see there for guns are ones that come in with the crowd.

      If you really want an AK you should go back in time at minimum a year ago before prices got rediculous.       AK question about parts interchanging

      Most AK's out there have the (AKM) pattern of parts. Most parts from an (AK47) will fit AKM styles. The Chinese weapons have a few parts that are different. The model is key to know and also AK's really do not wear out from normal sporting use anyway. If he is looking to store some replacement...

      Maadi AK-47 value?

      Sounds like a misr-90 which is a Maadi reciever with a slant cut at the rear with a MAK90 parts kit mated to it. If that is the case stay away, no matter how much AK's go up in price I still would not own one of those.

      What did everyone get at the 1500??

      1,500 rounds of Russian Tiger 7.62x39 , Bulgarian 75 round drum and a waffle mag. I was looking for a good used beater AK but all I saw was Wsar's and everything else overpriced aimed at panic buyers.

      My fathers Stevens/Springfield model 84B .22, and still have it.
