Who makes that scope mount? Can you include close-up photos of it?

      How young is too young?

I am looking to take a couple of friends for their first trip to a range because they are interested in firearms. They are interested in bringing their two year old son with them, if they can watch him and he can keep on eye and ear protection would that be OK, or is he too young? Thank you.

What do you say IF you get pulled over?

Very true but it does not always work. We have the occasional issue in our area where they will pull people over just to prove a point. :-/

What do you say IF you get pulled over?

Locking the door behind you sounds like a good idea, I had not heard of that before. Then they either have to have your consent or remove your keys from you to do a search.

Why you don't quick draw in the Starbuck's bathroom

8-O Who in their right mind would hang a gun by the trigger guard? What was he thinking?!

      Teacher fires blanks at class

True. Do you remember the full stated purpose of the 'lesson'? Was it just to show the memory issues associated with a tramatic event, or was there more to it?

Going to give Glock a fair try.

The simplicity is part of why I love the Glocks as well. They are not the perfect gun for everything, but for my needs I like them.

Could you shoot 45 Auto Rim out of a 45 lc pistol

True, what I should have said is it would only fire once...

      What is everybodys favorite firearm?

I have my eye on this: McMillan TAC-50, McMillan 50 Caliber, 50 Cal Sniper Rifle If only... Would also need to find a range with enough room to really give it a workout.

Brownsburg Wal-mart is getting long guns

The 'firearms' our local Walmart carry are limited to the airsoft variety... And all of the ammo is in a locked case, must mean our 'people of Walmart' cannot be trusted anywhere near firearms... Good thing we have a few gun stores around...

If you haven't got one yet.. Garand Arrival

That is a fine looking gun, you will certainly have to let us know how it shoots. I too have been eyeing the CMP program but did not know you could go to Camp Perry and pick out the one you want... Is there a special process for this, or do they have a regular storefront that you go to like a...

      Dillon XL650

I am planning on attending a class, I see there are some offered in Indy but have not looked as closely at course offerings yet regarding reloading. BrianEnos.com does have some very good information there where he compares the different types and I believe he prefers the 550 to the 650 due to...

      Blued Vs. Stainless Steel

Stainless steel can look much nicer to some, just like some people love the chrome look but with the high-gloss shiney finish comes some additional maintenance to keep greasy fingerprints from detracting from the gun's looks. Stainless should be rust and corrosion proof throughout the material...

Lets work together to get a gunsmithing forum.

I am not a smith yet, but sure would love to learn from those of you that are to open up new avenues and 'adventures' with firearms. I would love to see a gunsmithing sub-forum.

      Range brass

It is nice to see guys that take pride in this, especially if they reload. Plus I find it is much easier for me to spot shiney new starline brass at the range compared to just 'brass' all over and I plan on keeping my brass polished once I start to reload to help make mine stand out from the crowd.

4in barrel vs 3.8in for duty carry

Duty carry I would also go with atleast a .40 if you can do it.
