      Havlin's / indygunsmith.com: Excellent service and a good man!

I've had Brett do work for me several times and he has always done great work at reasonable prices. And, like you said, he's fun to shoot the poop with too! :)

      Blackhawk accuracy 45ACP vs 45LC?

Great! Thanks for the info, Guys. I appreciate it. Yeah, my eyes aren't what they used to be, so I won't be shooting past 25 yards anyway. I went ahead and placed my bid on Gunbroker. Thanks again. Apache

      Blackhawk accuracy 45ACP vs 45LC?

Guys, I'm looking at buying a Ruger Blackhawk with both 45ACP/45LC cylinders. I've seen online (which is always true, right?) where, due to the difference in bullet diameter, accuracy may be better with one caliber over the other. I'm sure someone here has some experience with one of these...

      AR sights too low?

Guys, I searched for a related thread, but didn’t find anything, so if this has been addressed before, please let me know. I’m not new to long guns by any stretch, but I am new to the AR-15 platform. I know, way late to the party, right? Anyway, I recently picked up a Ruger AR556. It...

      Gunsmith for a "Bubba'd up" L frame?

Hey, Guys, Many years ago, I picked up a well-used S&W 586 (circa early 1980's) and stuck it in my safe. Long story short, several years later, I discovered that, before I bought it, someone had attempted to make a round butt out of the square butt frame and did a dismal job of it...

I've been wondering about a good, secure way to have a gun in my vehicle too. Thanks for the great info, Guys.

      Loaning money to friends

My 2 cents. It's been said before, but being bitten myself, I won't loan money to anyone anymore. I've lost several friends over it.

Preppers rejoice! Beer still drinkable after getting nuked!

Nice to know the beer will be safe. Save the beer!

      Left a gun behind.

Not really abandoned, but I dropped a magazine in a movie theater once and didn't discover it until I got home. Luckily, I realized it and went back. The manager made me wait until the movie was over before I was allowed to look for it. I'm just glad no one else found it first!

What is your favorite gun to shoot?

Right there with ya, firefighterjohn. I just love shooting my 1911 and 586, both from 1985!

      Do looks really matter?

I once had an opportunity to buy a S&W 3913 (I think) at a great price, but it had "Lady Smith" on the side. I passed on it because of that. I wish I hadn't. Insecure? LOL! :):

      Current LTCH Wait

I have a buddy whose wife applied in Boone County back in December and still hasn't received it. I'm starting to wonder if they found something on her.

      Your favorite Survival/Post-apoc/Disaster movies?

Adrian's Undead Diary. Really good writing. Internet based. Google it. I "binge read" it over the course of a few weeks. Totally worth the bloodshot eyes from staying up late reading it.

What have you done this week to prep? PART II

I stocked up on about 200 flints and a bunch of wicks for my Zippos. Since they will run on multiple fuels, I always keep a few of them around.

What Watches Do INGO Members Wear? "What's on your forearm"?

I've worn a couple of Seiko 5 for several years. Great little automatic watches. It was $55 when I bought it, but I think it's closer to $70 now.
