I used to own an 84F. Great classic gun and it has such a beautiful look. Sold it recently since it sat in the safe collecting dust. The .380 ammo is expensive compared to 9mm. I believe it was standard firearm for some European police forces, especially Italy. Pleasure to shoot. Just...
Excellent gun. Trigger is great. Fits perfectly in my hand with the 13-round mag. Comfortable to carry and shoot and only 18-19 oz. Reliable. Good grip texture. As accurate as the shooter will allow.
I own both the Shield Plus and a Taurus G3. Shield Plus has better trigger, but they both shoot about the same accuracy to me. And both equally reliable with various ammo.
Taurus really improved their reputation with these G series guns.
First show in years. Really good selection of firearms, some reasonable prices. Picked up a M&P Shield Plus, holster, and AR mag. Seems like knife prices have gone up. Decent crowd.
I saw comments on a YouTube News post for a ch. 13 story where someone claimed that the kid had 7 wounds when he arrived at the hospital DOA. If so, damn impressive to land 7/10.
I have bought and sold a few guns from him. Nice guy and he has a really good YT channel.
The drop in background checks is pretty much all you need to know. Demand is softening.
Yeah, they are making some good guns at a great price point. I have the G3 and shoots great. Is it a Glock or Smith? Nope.
But for about half the price, hard to beat. Reliable and fun.
I have the G3. Excellent gun for the $$. I have handled the G2C and G3C but thought the grip too small. They have a G3X which intrigues me. It has the compact barrel (G3C) but standard G3 grip size.
I A/B tested against S&W M&P 2.0 compact (4” barrel) and I had tighter groups with the...
I go there frequently. Clean place, nice people and great firearm selection. I am grateful they located the business there. They run a safe operation. Not the cheapest, but I am willing to pay the premium. They aren’t hurting for customers - busy place.
Thanks for posting that message. Good for the consumer as we need more big gun retailers independent from each other. I have yet to check that store, but it is on the list. Still sad Gander Mountain didn’t make it in Castleton.
I own the G3 4” barrel and it is an outstanding value pistol. Taurus has really improved their quality in the last few years. The G2C And G3C are good, reliable EDC weapons too for a very reasonable price.
Winter is my gun season, ironically. It is when I trade out the old for the new and do my most shooting.
Was looking for a range gun the other day and picked up a Taurus G3. Went to the range and put about 200 rounds through it. Great value for the money so far.
I was at Shoot Point Blank in Carmel yesterday. Seemed safe the way the lanes are designed. However, as I was leaving I walked past a guy that smelled like he just smoked pot. I sure hope they didn’t allow him to shoot.
What took them so long? I lived there (MA) for about 4 years. Very hostile to conservative views. The western part of the state is at least sane, but anything near Boston is a lost cause.
5.56 American Eagle 55 gr at Cabelas yesterday for $74.99 box of 100. They had some generic target ammo of 223 for $89.99 for box of 150. Plenty of both on the shelves.
