      To list an NFA item for sale is there any paperwork the ATF requires? Upon finding the seller (assume private sale) what are the steps? Must a transfer go through a licensed dealer? How is the money handled while waiting for paperwork? Thanks

      Pistol to SBR

      I thought (and still think) you can take an AR pistol and legally create a SBR out of one as long as the paper work is done. Does anyone know of any law, finding or regulation that revents this. I was told this weekend you cannot use a pistol?
