I have a 22Squirrel FL Sizing die custom made by Whidden and I'm unable to get the neck down to the desired OD of .239/.240. I've completely removed the expander to alleviate any problems with it.
With the die screwed all the way down to just off the shell holder, I can't size tighter than a...
Does anyone in central or southern IN have a reloading press with a 22 Hornet shell holder? I'd like to throw my die in it and see if it will size my case. I can't get my Forster coax press to work with this die.
I'm trying to see if it's a die problem or a press problem or a user problem...
Any ideas on resources that may have some WW Super 22 hornet new cases or once fired?
I'm unable to find any retailers that have it in stock, my best shot may be a forum member.
Thank you
I'd like to send my resizing reamer to a reputable die maker that can make me a die set for my 22 Squirrel.
Who have you all used in the past with great results?
I'd like to commission a small shop based on the positive experiences I've had vs. a production business.
Thanks for suggestions
I currently have a TAC 20 built on a Stiller Predator action with a Krieger barrel and 11 twist, this is an extended reach rifle on coyotes that is used when hunting stands provide shots in the 250 – 400 yard range. This has been an exceptional cartridge for that game and distance.

Prescut, the T/Cs that you have gotten from Kurt Bellm......Did he have the complete setup and you purchased an already assembled "tricked out" firearm OR did you send him the components and he performed his gun smithing and fine tuning and sent them back ready to go?
I'm just curious how he...
Jmarriott, this is one of the reasons I would like to swap out the existing barrel and have a 17 made for my 17AH caliber. I currently have a Cooper Model 38 in a 17AH and just thought it would be pretty versatile for me to have a 17AH T/C. Not only versatile, but I wouldn't have to invest in...
I appreciate all the support and positive comments on the T/C. I feel better about the pistols instead of having second thoughts and doubting the purchase.
Here are a couple pics of my Contender and Encore pistols.
Picky and hard headed are traits I'm ok with. I'm just wanting to get off to a good start without spending experimental time and money as I look for a barrel in the caliber I'm wanting.
I don't mind tweaking loads and spending time with the piece to make it a shooter. What I'm trying to avoid...

I reached out to Mike Bellm recently and when he replied with this (below) when I asked about a barrel, I knew I was in trouble and in over my head.
I asked him about a particular barrel for the encore and this was his reply.
“what they don’t make clear is if the barrel is bored...
Hello, I have a friend that just sold me to Thompson Center pistols, 1 Contender 223 and 1 Encore 270. His neighbor passed away and kept his guns in impeccable condition, so I thought I’d jump on them.
I have no intentions on shooting these with the barrels that are on them, I’m a small bore...
