      A while ago a gentleman told me there is an Indiana gunsmith on the west side of the state (I believe Crown Point area) that specializes in repairing Colt blackpowder pistols. Well now a year later I have 2 that have some issues. Does anyone one here know who he might be and how I can reach him...

      Springfield Favorite

      I've had quite a few (maybe 100 or so) Stevens Favorites and have never seen a springfield barrel on one. All of them have/had "J Stevens" on it. And about 30% of them say it upside down.
